Young Allegra Versace and Her Battle with Anorexia

Anorexia Nervosa is more common in females and those born to professional parents. And if left untreated for more than ten years, recovery is unlikely. However, as in Allegra Versace Anorexia, if treatment is started at an earlier time about half of the sufferers recover in about four years, while one quarter seem some better and the remainder remain at an extremely seriously low weight. There may not be one single cause of this disorder, but the advent of the size ’0′ models that adorn the catwalk these days, has enticed many young women to achieve the same size. Because of this, a large movement to ban severely underweight models form performing has begun.
