The Dangers of Visceral Belly Fat

Visceral belly fat is the deepest layer of belly fat – the fat that you cannot see or grab. This poses a great risk to your health and can lead to cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and cancer. These visceral fat cells produce hormones and substances that can affect your body and your health. Since they are found near your internal organs and within your abdominal cavity, one can just imagine the dangers they pose.

Thus, when a person is overweight with belly fat a main concern, he or she must start to diet and exercise. Aerobic exercises will facilitate belly fat loss. It is important to also focus on calorie-burning exercises because Stomach Fat is usually the first that is burned. A proper diet, with limited fats and sugar should likewise be maintained.
